ABOUT STABLE ADJACENT
THE FOUNDER
Meet Jenna…
Stable Adjacent was founded in Hampton Roads, Virginia by an adult amateur equestrian who has spent years navigating the specific kind of hard that horse ownership as an adult actually is — not the version anyone warned you about when you were a kid who just wanted a pony.
Jenna’s current horses are Connor (16yo Dutch warmblood — kissing spine, squamous cell carcinoma, keratectomy, neurological recovery, custom everything, special everything…), Noah (10yo Oldenburg × TB — Grade 3 bilateral ECVM, glue-on shoes, mystery body lameness, and a fence jumping Houdini), and Willow (16yo warmblood mare, retired after many diagnostics and suspected sciatica / kissing spine / post colic complications, Potomac horse fever induced colic surgery and quarantine getaway, beautiful, knows it).
She also works multiple jobs and manages a five-acre farm with her husband and six dogs. Which is to say, she understands why you do not have time to become an expert in equine myofascial release, saddle fitting biomechanics, or the sequencing of specialists for a horse that is "just not quite right."
Stable Adjacent is not veterinary advice. It is the thinking partner, the coordinator, and the reminder that none of us actually have this completely under control.
A note on what this is and is not…
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE
Stable Adjacent provides experiential guidance based on personal knowledge and lived experience with horses — not veterinary, medical, or professional advice. All health and care decisions for your horse should be made in consultation with your licensed veterinarian and other qualified professionals. The recommendations made through Stable Adjacent's coaching and relocation services reflect personal knowledge, not professional expertise.
I will always tell you honestly when something is outside what I can usefully help with. That is part of the service.
